It totally amazed me how we’d go into a tasting room at Tales of the Cocktail and it would look one way, we’d come back in a couple of hours and it would be transformed into something completely different. The Catdaddy display took the cake!! They did Christmas in July and we were literally in a Winter Wonderland complete with icicles, snow, and presents.

Catdaddy is a spiced Carolina Moonshine from Piedmont Distillers of Madison, NC. Coming in at 80 Proof, it’s American corn and triple-distilled and totally small batch.

While this is great chilled and sipped straight up, it also has a clean spicy taste that’s great in cocktails.

Catdaddy

1 1/2 oz Catdaddy

1/2 oz lemon juice

1/2 oz simple syrup

Mix all ingredients together in a shaker, pour into highball glass with ice. Enjoy!!

Pour in shot glass. Bottoms Up!

Flynn Fizz

1 1/2 oz Catdaddy

1/2 oz simply syrup

3/4 oz lime juice

egg yolk

Shake over ice and strain into martini glass. Top with club soda.
